Charles Linton Maroulis, age 59, of Orleans, passed away Thursday, September 
11, 2014 in Grand Rapids.  He was born November 6, 1954 in Ionia the son of 
Harold and Florena (Dennis) Maroulis. 

Charles was a graduate of Ionia High School, Class of 1973.  He married Shirley 
Ramey on April 3, 1981 in Ionia.  Charles worked for Pridgeon & Clay Tool & 
Die.  He loved riding his Harley, collecting coins, & his trinkets.  Charles 
loved his family and grandchildren they were the light of his life. 

Charles is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Maroulis of Orleans; daughters, 
Crystal (Sean) Sinclair of Ionia, Ruby (Jeff) Bridinger of Orleans, Amber 
Maroulis (Jeremy Rogers) of Grand Rapids; brothers, Jerry Dennis of Remus and 
Harold (Rick) Maroulis of Orleans; sisters, Carol Waters of Ionia, Annie 
Maroulis of Ionia, Diane (Chuck) Renn of Ionia, Linda Maroulis of Orleans; 
grandchildren, Gage Sinclair, Jakob Sinclair, Brody Sinclair, Portia Sinclair, 
Eliza Bridinger, Ellie Bridinger, Shane House, and Conner House; mother-in-law, 
Roberta Steele of Ionia; special friend, Tim Tobias of Orleans; several brother 
& sister-in-law’s and many nieces, nephews, cousins, & friends.  He was 
preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law, Emory Ramey. 

Funeral Services will held Wednesday, Sept. 17, 11 a.m. at Shiloh Community 
Church with Pastor Shane Prewitt officiating.  Interment at Tuttle Cemetery.  
Visitation on Tuesday at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia from 4-7 p.m.  Those 
wishing, may make donations to the Camp Quality or Zion Food Pantry.
