Sentinel Standard – 4 March 1969
Rev. Chester J. Erickson of Zion United Methodist church officiated at funeral 
services Saturday in Ionia for Norman Wesley Marquette who died Wednesday 
morning.  Interment was at Muir Cemetery.  Bearers were Dave Bugbee, richer 
Northrup, Francis Lumbert, Miles Hull, Daryl Badder, Harry Steele, Jack 
Gladding and Lawrence Northrup.



Attending from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Font of Ada, Phil and 
Gladys Wilson, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Cassel, Kenneth Cassel, Hattie Tatosian, Mrs. 
Milton Zuenby, Mr. and Mrs. John Rizzi, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Wiggins and Mr. 
and Mrs. Howard Wilson all of Lansing.



Mr. and Mrs. Miles Hull and Cheryl, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Steele, Mr. and Mrs. 
Lester Randall, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Randall, Mr. and Mrs. Al Lemke, Mr. and Mrs. 
Al Simon, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Brandi, Mr. and Mrs. Don Mason, Mr. and Mrs. 
Arthur Eave and Robert Hosford all of Muir.



Mr. and Mrs. Jack Gladding, Louise Hodgman, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Pline, Mr. and 
Mrs. Clement Fedewa, Mr. and Mrs. Gary Randall all of Lyons.

Raglin of Belding.



Members of the American Legion folded the flag at the graveside and it was 
presented to Mrs. Marquette by William Crowley, commander of the local post.
