Burtte Marr, 82, died Thursday morning, September at Eckert’s nursing home, 
where he had been a patient since December of 1955.  

Mr. Marr was born December 8, 1873 at Ada, the son of William H. and Olive Marr 
and lived his entire life in Belding.  He was a painter by trade.  Surviving is 
a brother, Ross Marr of Alabama.

Funeral services will be conducted at Phelps funeral chapel Saturday, September 
8 at 10 a.m.  The Rev. Heath Goodwin will officiate and interment will be in 
Highland park cemetery.
