Donald E. Marshall, 53, of Portales, N.M., formerly of Belding, died on 
Monday.  He was born on Dec. 10, 1938, in Belding, the son of William and 
Beatrice Helms Marshall.

He is survived by his mother, two daughters, Carmen of Calif. and Rebecca of 
Fla.; his son Timothy of Texas; two sisters: Betty Jane Sughrue of Belding and 
Shirley Signs of Bowling Green, Ky.; and his brother William H. Marshall Jr. of 
Belding.  He was preceded in death by his father Dec. 23, 1991.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Huffman Funeral Home, Belding, with 
the Rev. Nathaniel Johnson officiating.  Burial will be in Greene cemetery.  
The family will be at the funeral home from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
