Ionia Sentinel - June 4 1991
John C. Marshall, 78, of Crystal died Sunday at Sheridan Community Hospital.  
He was born April 17, 1913, in Ashland, Pa., the son of Clinton and Louise 
Marshall.  He was a television broadcaster for WKZO in Kalamazoo from 1958 to 
1978.  He was an Army captain during World War II.  He married Mary Shaw-
Rivett, in Ionia, in 1960.  He is survived by his wife, his step-son John 
Rivett of Sheridan and two step-grandsons.  He was preceded in death by his 
parents, one brother and two sisters.

Funeral services will be 7 pm Wednesday, at Schnepp Funeral Home, Crystal, with 
the Rev. Scott Anderson officiating.  The family will be at the funeral home 
from 6 - 7 pm Wednesday.  A memorial has been established for St. John's 
Episcopal Church of Ionia, in care of the funeral home.
