Sentinel-Standard - Tues. March 28, 1922

The funeral for Mrs. John Marshall was held from the late home on West 
Washington street Monday afternoon at 2:30. Rev. Charles J. Kruse, pastor of 
the Methodist Episcopal church conducted the service and was assisted by Rev. 
Herbert Stressman, pastor o the Evangelical church. The bearers were  members 
of the American Legion and were: Will Storey, G.R. Hogarth, Glenn Matthews, 
P.A. Skinner, Bert Watkins, and Lawrence Hale. Among those from out of the city 
were Mr. and Mrs. Carl Metzger and children, of South Dakota; Miss Greta 
Marshall, of Detroit; Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Marshall, of Flint; Mrs. Mark, of 
Canada, and George Marshall, of Cadillac. Burial took place in the family lot 
at Highland Park cemetery.
