Sentinel-Standard - Friday, Dec. 5, 1952

Melvin Marshall, 31, owner and operator of a tavern at Mio, died of a heart 
attack at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, December 4, at his place of business.

Marshall was a son of Mrs. Addie Marshall Von Tautenhahn of Lakeland, Fla., 
formerly of Ionia. He was reared in Ionia and attended Ionia schools.

The body will arrive at the Boynton funeral home Saturday. Funeral arrangements 
are pending the arrival of the mother and the twin brother, Marvin, both of 
Lakeland.
