          DEMERICE "MARY" MARSHALL  1930 - 2016
    Demerice "Mary" Marshall, aged 86 of Muir, passed away Aug. 16, 2016 in Carson
City.  She was born June 22, 1930 in Ionia the daughter of Lawrence and Marjorie 
(Crandall) Sheaffer.
   She married Harold L. Marshall Oct. 11, 1952; he preceded her in death in 2008.
   Mary was a member of the Lyons Muir Church and the Ionia Moose Lodge.
   She is survived by her children, Susan (Bruce) Henry of Grand Rapids, David
Marshall of Muir, Chris (Deb) Marshall of Muir, Tim (Julie) Marshall of Ionia and 
Kathy Marshall of Maryland. Eight grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren also 
survive.
   She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harold, five brothers and one
grandson, Paul Henry.
   Funeral Services for Mary will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, 2016 at
Lyons-Muir Church with Pastor Jon VanDop officiating.  Interment Oakwood Cemetery 
in Muir. Visitation will be on Friday 4-7 p.m. at the Lake Funeral Home in Ionia.  
Those wishing may make memorial contributions to Lyons-Muir Church or Hope
