The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, March 24, 1943


Funeral services for John M. Marshall, 84, of 528 West Washington street, were 
held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock at the Boynton funeral home.  Rev. F. 
G. Dunbar, pastor of the First Methodist church, officiated and burial was in 
Highland Park cemetery.  

Floral arrangements were in charge of Mrs. Clarence Johnson and Miss Esther 
Thompson.  Pallbearers were Harris Jackson, Bert Fox, William McElroy, Henry 
Voelker, Lawrence Lemmen and A. V. Wright.

Relatives from out of town who attended services were Mr. and Mrs. Carl 
Metzger, Duane and Margaret of St. Clair; Albert Marshall of Mt. Pleasant, Mr. 
and Mrs. Herbert Marshall of Flint; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Mulholland of 
Charlotte.  Representatives from lumber companies throughout Michigan also 
attended.
