Kenneth W. Marshall, 66, died Tuesday at the Grand Rapids Veterans facility
where he had been a patient seven years.  He had been a life-long resident of
Ionia until he entered the facility.  He was born September 25, 1901 in England,
the son of Robert and Annie Tyson Marshall. 

He is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Frank Harkness, Mrs. Belmont Burger of
Orleans, Mrs. Harold Thorpe of Grand Rapids and Mrs. Elgin Smith of Wayland. 
Two brothers, Morris of Grand Rapids and Robert of Royal Oak, also survive.

Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Stone-Kauffman Funeral home at
Ionia.  Fr. Charles Lynch will officiate.  Burial will be in Highland Park
cemetery.  Bearers will be Frank Harkness, Edgar Harkness, John Walker, Tom
Marshall, Robert Morris and Thomas Drugel.
