Marvin L. Marshall, 73, of Ormond Beach, Fla. formerly of Ionia, died Thursday,
in Florida.  He was born the son of Levi and Addie Von Tautenhahn Marshall.  He
was graduated from Ionia High School in 1936.  He was a former member of the
First United Methodist Church of Ionia.  He had been a farmer in the Ionia area.

He is survived by his wife Beatrice, his sons Terry Lee of Port Orange, Fla. and
Alan Duane of Sunrise, Fla., his daughter, Linda K. Harter of Ormond Beach,
Fla., three step-sons; Kelly Lee Stitham of Holly Hill, Fla., Jerry Wayne
Stitham of Daytona Beach, Fla., and Gary Ray Stitham of Maryville, Tenn., one
step-daughter, Joyce Ann Colyer of Wise, Va.; eight grandchildren, five
great-grandchildren, and 10 step-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his
twin brother Melvin.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Highland Park Cemetery in
Ionia, with the Rev. F. Michael Valentine officiating.  Arrangements by Cook
Funeral Home of Ionia.
