Mrs. Celina Martin, 83, of 35 Belhaven, died Friday at Butterworth hospital in 
Grand Rapids.  She was born December 25, 1891, at Pine River.

A member of the St. Joseph’s Catholic church at Belding she also belonged to 
the Ave Maria guild, St. Cecilia guild and Rosary society of the church.

Her husband, William J. Martin, died in 1964.  Survivors include three 
daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Barcey and Mrs. Gertrude Nichols, both of Belding and 
Mrs. Agnes Hahn of Greenville; two sons, William E. Martin of Grand Rapids and 
Paul J. of Seattle Wash.; 24 grandchildren and 61 great grandchildren; two 
sisters, Mrs. Alex Barcey and Mrs. Gust Laux, both of Belding.

Rosary will be recited Sunday at 7:30 p.m. at the Huffman funeral home in 
Belding.  Requiem mass will bet conducted Monday at 11 a.m. at the St. Joseph 
Catholic church of Belding.  Rev. Fr. John Wisneski will officiate and 
interment will be at the St. Joseph cemetery.  Visitation hours at the funeral 
home are Saturday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 8:30 
p.m.
