Funeral services for John J. Martin, 63, will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Myers 
funeral home with Rev. Lester Bailey officiating.  Interment will be in Lyons 
cemetery.  Mr. Martin died Saturday morning at his home in Grand Rapids.  He as 
born in Wyandotte, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Martin.  He was a member of 
Elks lodge 548 and Moose lodge 998.

In 1957 he moved to Grand Rapids from Ypsilanti and was employed as building 
supervisor of Montgomery Ward at the time of his death.

Surviving are his wife, Florence; mother, Anna; 10 brothers and three sisters 
of Detroit, Las Vegas, Nev. and California; 15 grandchildren and one great-
grandchild.
