Ionia Sentinel Standard, 1 May 1972

Mrs. Vera M. Martin, 85, of Howell, died Sunday at McPherson hospital in 
Howell.  She was a former Portland resident and widow of Floyd Martin.  She had 
been making her home with her daughter, Mrs. Isabel Rose of Howell.

Surviving besides the daughter are two grandchildren and two great 
grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. at Neller funeral home of 
Portland, Rev. Allen Gray of First United Methodist church of Howell will 
officiate and interment will be at Portland cemetery.
