Archie B. Martin, 67, died at his home here from a heart attack on Wednesday 
night of last week.  Funeral was held Saturday afternoon at Neller Funeral 
Home, Rev. Joseph Polmounter, of the Nazarene church, officiating.  Burial was 
in Danby cemetery.

Mr. Martin was employed at the office of the Michigan National Guard in 
Lansing.  After being stricken, Dale Kauffman, Ionia county coroner, was 
called, and he said death was caused by a heart attack.

Surviving are the wife, Gertrude; daughter, Mrs. Jessie Mesick, of 
Breckenridge; sons, Walter Martin, in the Marine Corps on Guam; and Ralph 
Martin, of Portland.  There are four grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Ella 
Urie, resides in Charlotte.

Bearers were Joseph Huhn, Carl Smith, Lawrence Anthony, Lawrence Robertson, 
Levi Jenson and Harold Kirkpatrick.
