The Portland Review, Thursday, April 26, 1962

Mrs. Mary Belle Martin, 69, died  at her home on Charlotte rd. last Thursday, 
and services were held at Neller Funeral Home Saturday afternoon.  Clergyman 
was the Rev. Maurice Christenson and burial was in Danby cemetery.

Surviving the deceased are the husband, Elmer; two sons, Holman and Robert, 
both of Portland; five grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Smith of 
Christiansburg, Va. and Mrs. Helen Shay of Portland; and two brothers, Oakley 
Jones and Clarence Jones, both of Salem, Va.

Bearers were Loyd Phillips, Peter Baker, Kenneth Towner, Clarence Rogers, Carl 
Smith and James Darling.
