Funeral for Aged Portland Woman to Be Held Thursday

Mrs. Katherine Martin, 72, mother of Mrs. William Spitzley, of Portland,
succumbed Sunday at St. Lawrence hospital, Lansing, to injuries received in a
fall about a week ago, when she fractured her hip.  Funeral services will be
held at St. Patrick’s church, Portland, Thursday and burial will take place at
the Catholic cemetery at Fowler.

Mrs. Martin was born in Westphalia and her maiden name was Fedewa.
