Alice L. Martin, 84, of rural Belding, passed away Thursday, Nov. 3, 2005, at
the home of her daughter.  Alice was born June 18, 1921, in Muir, the daughter
of William and Ellen Ward.

On July 18, 1942, in Belding, Alice married Clarence Martin.  For 43 years she
and Clarence owned and operated Martin’s Beauty Shop in Belding, retiring in 1966.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clarence, in 1997; brother,
Harold Ward; and sister, Madeline Howard.

Alice is survived by her children, Robert Martin of Belding, Gayle Parsaca of
Greenville; grandchildren, Chad Nelson, Joe Parsaca; great-grandson, Trenton
Nelson; brothers, Bill Ward, Ron Ward; and sister, Carol Furman.

In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place.  There will be no service.
 Memorial contributions may be given to a charity of one’s choice.  Care and
service were entrusted to Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding.
