Belding- Faye A. Martin, 78, of Belding, entered the grace of our Lord on 
Tuesday  morning, Nov. 26, 2013, at home under the loving care of her family 
and Spectrum health Hospice.

Faye was born on March 31, 1935, in Newton Falls, Ohio, the daughter of Roy E. 
and Florence A. (Henry) Garland.

She was the 12th of 13 children and graduated from Newton Falls High School in 
Newton Falls, Ohio.

On Sept. 5, 1954, Faye married George Kenneth Martin in Wyandotte and together 
they enjoyed 59 years of marriage.

In 2002, she retired as the manager of the Belding "C" Store after 20 years of 
service. Faye was a faithful wife, mother, grandmother and special  helpmate to 
her husband for more that 45 years in public ministries.

Faye is loved and survived by her husband, Kenneth and their children, Tom and 
Leslie Martin of Holland, Randy Martin of Hamilton, Russ Martin of Ada, Sue and 
John Holyfield of Belding, Jamie and Lori Martin of Topeka, Ind., John and 
Carla Greenop of Belding; 22 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; her 
siblings, Doris Hawkins of Newton Falls, Ohio, will and Betty Garland of 
Leavittsburg, Ohio; her mother-in-law, Jesse Martin of Wyandotte and many 
nieces and nephews. 

Faye is preceded in death by her parents; seven brothers and three sisters.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. today at Johnson-Feuerstein 
Funeral Home, Belding.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Pastor Dan 
Mead officiating.

Committal prayers will follow at River Ridge Cemetery, Belding.

Memorials may be given to the wishes of the family.

Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
