The Ionia Daily Sentinel, Wednesday, July 22, 1914


Mrs. Floretta Martin, aged 56, died at her home at Big Rapids, Wednesday 
morning.  Remains will be brought to this city for interment at 11 o’clock 
Friday and will be taken direct to Balcom cemetery.  Rev. Marshall will 
officiate at the grave.

Subsequent Publication:  Friday, July 24, 1914

The funeral services for Mrs. Martin took place today immediately upon the 
arrival of the 11:20 train from Big Rapids where death occurred.  Interment 
took place in Balcom cemetery.  Mrs. Martin was a former resident of this 
locality but spent the last years of her life near Rodney.
