Excerpts from Obituary:
FREDERICK S. MARTIN of Portland
Died April 20, 2017-age 85.
Born April 7, 1932 in Columbus City, Iowa to the late Sullivan G. and Edna M. 
(Morrison) Martin.
Fred was a U.S. Army Veteran & served in the National Guard.
Fred is survived by his 5 children, 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 
2 great-great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his wife, Joann, two children, and two siblings.
Graveside services Tuesday April 25, 2017 at 11 a.m.. at Danby Cemetery with 
Pastor PJ Horn, officiating.
Visitation Monday 6-8 p.m. at Holihan-Atkin-Barclay Funeral Home, Grand Ledge.
Memorial contributions may be given to McLaren Greater Lansing Hospice.
