Margarette Martin, aged 89, of Saranac passed away February 18, 2004 in Ionia. 
She was born July 14, 1914. She owned and operated Martin Twins Beauty Shop in 
Saranac for 65 years and Dress shop for 30 years.

Margarette is survived by four nieces and one nephew.  She was preceded in 
death by her two brothers; James Kennedy Martin and her sisters Irene and 
Marlene Martin.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, at Saranac Community Church 
with Rev. John Madvig officiating. Interment North Plains Cemetery. Visitation 
Monday 2-4 and 7-8:30 P.M. at Lake Funeral Home in Saranac. Anyone wishing may 
make a memorial contribution to Boston Historical Society.
