IONIA - Linnie M. Martin, 96, of 3329 East Bluewater Highway, Ionia, died Dec. 
31 at Ionia County Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Odessa Township Oct., 22, 1890, the daughter of Austin and Ada 
Beckham Root.

She was a member of the Ionia County Gleaners and of Beatrice Rebekkah Lodge No. 
100.

Surviving are a step-daughter, a stepson, eight grandchildren, 40 great 
grandchildren, two nephews and four nieces.

She was preceded in death by her husband James, two stepsons, Louis and Foster 
and two stepdaughters, Irene Jackson King and Martleen Martin.

Services by Montgomery Funeral Home, Ionia.
