                         Final Rites For Elizabeth Martin

Miss Elizabeth Martin, 85, passed away Tuesday at the home of her nephew, Carl 
Martin at Hesperia. She was born at Westphalia, August 16, 1869 the daughter of 
Joseph and Elizabeth Martin and had lived in this city for 60 years.

She was engaged as a dressmaker for many years fashioning the garment's for the 
best dressed women of the city. She was housekeeper and companion for 
Mrs.A.Friedman for 18 years until her health began to fail about a year ago, but 
she continued to make her home there until three weeks ago when she was taken to 
the home of her nephew and her passing was quite sudden.

Her only survivors are three nephews, Joseph Martin of White Cloud, Hunt Martin 
of Pensacola, Fla., and Carl of Hesperia.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 o'clock at Huffman funeral Home with 
Rev.H.S.Ellis officiating and the burial will be in River Ridge Cemetery. The 
pallbearers will be Bert McNaughton, Carl Taylor, Marshall King and Paul King.
