                        RAYMOND P. MARTIN

Funeral service was conducted Tuesday for Raymond P. Martin, 43, Belding World 
War II Veteran who died at the home of his parents,Mr.and Mrs.William Martin of 
6187 Long Lake road, Belding, Saturday.

Born in Ionia September 23, 1916. He was a tool and die maker at General Motors 
in Grand Rapids.He was married August 21, 1937 to Valeta June Higbee at Ionia.

Surviving besides the widow are a daughter Shirley Ann of Wisconsin; three 
sons,Robert, Harold and Charles, all of Greenville and his parents,.Other 
survivors include a sister,Mrs.Byrne Nichols of Belding and a 
sister,Mrs.Clarence Hahn of Portland, two brothers and one grandchild.

Burial was at Belding St.Joseph Cemetery.
