          MARTIN

Ray Leroy Martin, age 79 of Ionia, passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2023. Ray 
was born on July 23, 1943, the son of Ray and Marjorie Martin in Ionia. On 
October 23, 1965, he married the love of his life,Norma.

He enjoyed reading, walking his dog Ruby and spending time with friends and 
family.

Ray is survived by his children, Ray (Bridger) Martin of Orleans Twp., Tony 
(Betsy) Martin of Washington State and Matt (Lisa) Martin of Clarkston; 
brothers, Gary Martin of Lowell and Bill (Shelly) Martin of Sheridan; 
grandchildren, Amy (Ronald Conley), Levi, Tabitha, Mady, Lily, Sabrina, Val; and 
one great-grandchild, Lilith.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Norma, brother, Raymond, and his 
parents.

A GraveSide service will be held on Friday, June 23, at 11:00 AM at Sunset 
Memorial Gardens in Ionia. Arrangements in care of Lake Funeral Home of Ionia.
