Ionia Sentinel - Thursday, Jan. 17, 1884

George Martin, aged sixty-four years, was buried in Oak Hill cemetery Tuesday. 
He had lately been adjudged insane, and was taken to the county house, 
preparatory to being removed to the asylum, and died while there. The funeral 
services were conducted by the I.O.O.F. society of which deceased had long 
been a member.
