Ionia Sentinel Standard, 4 Apr 1933

Anthony Martin, 69, formerly of Westphalia, a resident of Portland, died
Thursday night following an illness of six weeks.  Funeral services were
conducted in St. Patrick’s church, Portland, Monday morning and burial was in
Portland cemetery.

His widow, formerly Theressa Fedewa, and six children survive.  The children are
George Martin, Mrs. Anthony Fox, Ferdinand Martin, Mrs. Anthony Spitzley,
Portland; Mrs. Louis Simon, Fowler; Mrs. George Stump, Lansing.  The surviving
brothers and sisters are Peter Martin, Mrs. Peter Smith, Portland; Mrs. Carrie
Elias, Beal City, and John Martin, Lansing.
