Ionia Shopper's Guide-Sat. October 24, 2020

Maria Elena Martinez age 68 of Ionia passed away October 15, 2020. She was born 
April 15, 1952 in San Antonio, Texas the daughter of Luis and Adela (Solis) 
Landeros.

Maria married Roberto Martinez August 22, 1970 in Orleans, Michigan.

She was an active member of S.S. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Ionia. Maria 
loved music and dancing as well as shopping and traveling. She absolutely adored 
her grandchildren and spending time with her family.

Surviving are her husband Roberto Martinez of Ionia. Sons; Roberto (Ann) 
Martinez Jr. of Ionia and Michael (Sarah) Martinez of Grand Rapids. 
Grandchildren; Ashley (Dustin) Switzer of Portland, Grace Marie Martinez , Ayva 
Martinez, Christian Martinez, Mallory Martinez and Michael David Martinez. 
Great-grandchildren; Willow and Scotlyn Switzer. Siblings Cruz (Francisco) 
Escojido of Lansing, Maria Luisa (Genaro) Lam of Lansing, Ramona (Antonio) 
Martinez of Ionia, Vicente (Rosa) Landeros of Lansing and Oralia (Juan) Claudio 
of Ionia.

Funeral Mass was celebrated at S.S. Peter and Paul Catholic Church Wednesday, 
October 21, 2020 at 11:00 a.m.. Arrangements in care of Lake Funeral Home in 
Ionia. Online condolences may be made at www.lakefuneralhomes.com

Maria was preceded in death by her parents, brother Antonio (Carmen) Landeros, 
sisters Gloria Landeros and Olga Landeros.
