Lake Odessa Wave -Thurs. September 13, 1945

Antonio Martinez, 50, a native of Texas but an employee of the Lake Odessa 
Canning Co. for several years, died in Ionia Memorial hospital Thursday where he 
was taken following a stroke suffered at his home in Clarksville. Besides the 
widow, he leaves three sons and one daughter; Corporals Alex and Arthur in 
Germany and Private Antonio at Ft. McClellen, Ala., and Angelita at home. 
Deceases was a Veteran of World War I. Funeral services were held at the Beattie 
Funeral home in Clarksville, Sunday and burial was in the Clarksville cemetery.
