The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, June 4, 1955


Mrs. Bertha Jahnke Marvin died at the home of her daughter at Owosso Friday 
morning at 9:28.  Mrs. Marvin was born March 28, 1885 in Ionia, the daughter of 
the late Herman and Minnie Jahnke.

Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Margaret Holden, with whom she made her home; 
one grandson, Harvey, six sisters, Mrs. Clarence Mead of Owosso, Mrs. Hugo Hein 
of Eaton Rapids, Mrs. Minnie Kelley of Ionia, Mrs. Claud Tow of Grand Rapids, 
Mrs. Martha Getz and Mrs. Thomas Ceronsky of Lansing, and one brother, William 
Jahnke of Lansing.

Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2:30 at the Jennings-Lyons 
funeral home in Owosso.  Interment will be in Owosso.
