Mrs. Sophia Mascho aged 80 years passed away at the local hospital on Thursday 
night, death being caused by a complication of diseases incident to old age. 
Mrs. Mascho was born in Denmark and came to this country at the age of 17 
years.  She resided at Trufant and Greenville prior to coming to this city some 
time ago.

Surviving are three sons, Ernest, of Greenville and Arthur and William of this 
city.  Also three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the Fitzjohn funeral home Monday afternoon with 
Rev. Otto Neilsen of the Danish Lutheran church of Greenville, officiating and 
burial was in the cemetery at Trufant.
