Ionia Sentinel Standard, 17 May 1967

John A. Mason, 84, Boston township resident, died late Monday evening in Ionia,
after a lengthy illness.  Born in New Jersey, June 25, 1882, he had lived in
Boston township since 1932.

His wife Lola preceded him in death in 1966.  Surviving him are a daughter Mrs.
George Cobb of Saranac; two grandsons; two sisters Mrs. Emma Longstreet and Mrs.
Edna Schoedler both of New Jersey; one brother A.B. Mason of New Jersey.

Funeral services will be Friday at 2:30 p.m. at Morris-Roetman funeral home in
Saranac with Rev. Eldon Cummings and Rev. Robert McComb officiating and burial
will be in Saranac cemetery.
