The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, October 28, 1929

William H. Mason, 68 years of age, passed away Sunday evening at 6:30 at his 
home in Eaton township following a week’s illness.  He was born in Wayne 
county, but had spent his boyhood and later years in Ionia county.

Funeral services will be held from the residence Wednesday at (…illegible…) 
time and at 2 o’clock at the Dildine church.  Burial will be in Easton 
cemetery.

Surviving are the widow, three sons, Ray and Oren, of Ionia; and Orville, of 
Grand Rapids; two daughters, Mrs. Ruby Sanborn, of Arkansas, and Mrs. Ruth 
Sandall, of Comstock park, and a brother, Frank, of Mt. Pleasant.
