Mrs. Leona Marie Mason, 39, died Friday morning at 7 o’clock at St. Mary’s 
Hospital in Grand Rapids.  She had submitted to surgery and had been 
hospitalized for two weeks.  She was born March 14, 1915, in Picton, Ontario, 
the daughter of Firman and May Hott and was married to Josh Mason six years 
ago.  

She has been employed by Orchard Glen Cleaners of Lansing for the last six 
years and has lived on the south side of Jordan lake in Lake Odessa since her 
marriage.

Surviving are her husband, Josh; five sisters, Mrs. Oliver Gannon, Mrs. James 
McCalpine, Mrs. Nesbert Kerr of Picton, Ontario; Mrs. Levi Lattone of 
Plainfield, Ontario, and Mrs. James Corlett of Lansing; three brothers, Edward 
Hott of Ajax, Ontario, John of Picton and Michael of Bloomfield, Ontario.

Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Pickens 
funeral chapel and interment will be at Lakeside cemetery.
