He was born at Smyrna, April 10, 1876, the son of Warren G. Mason, and was married to Amy Almas at Stanton where he lived until moving to this vicinity 16 years ago. He had been a moulder in foundry work and last worked for the Murray Corporation. Surviving are his wife, Amy; one daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Miller of Ionia; two brothers, Jess and Lew of Kalamazoo, and four grandchildren. Funeral services at Fales Huffman Chapel were at 2 o’clock Tuesday, Rev. Lester Clough officiating and burial was in the Old Belding cemetery. Pallbearers were George Wiley, William Buchholz, Clark Palmer, Jerry Spaulding, William Moser and George Townsend.
