Excerpts from Belding Obituary

Dorman F. Mason
Died Sunday April 18, 2021-age 83 of Greenville at home.
Born January 22, 1938 in Belding.
Son of Charles A and Glads B. (Jewell) Mason.
In early years he attended the Dorr Country school, til WW II broke out & his 
older brothers went to fight, so Dorman had to quit school & work on the farm.
Dorman Liked gardening, fishing. collecting trinkets, watching wrestling & the 
older TV show, long bike rides & walking.
Was a Big Fan of Elvis and always styled his hair like Elvis.
Was married to Charlene (Clifford) for 60 years. She died Dec. 31, 2020.
Preceded in death by his parents, his wife, 21 brothers & sisters & great-
granddaughter Breanna.
Survived by his children, Mickey (Burton) Sly of Crystal, Debbie (Rich) Sellers 
of Greenville, Terry (Jerry) Cassidy of Allegan Melissa Garfield of Greenville, 
grandchildren, Sarah (Scott) Clark, Rachel Sellers, Cassy "Scooter" Mason (Ruby 
Henry), Clayton (Sarah)Holliday, Geanna Mason(Brandon Ludwick), Troy (Brittany) 
Holliday, Jessica (Dustin) Johnson, Michelle Baker, Britney Byrne, 21 great-
grandchildren, nieces & nephews, siblings; Gerald Mason of Lowell Jeanette 
Nelson of Grand Rapids.
A Celebration of Life Service for Dorman will be at 1:00 PM Saturday, April 24, 
at Shiloh Community Church.
Pastor Fredrick Barr officiating.
Inurnment at Orleans Township Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association.
