Mason, 88, died early Wednesday morning at Ionia convalescent home. Born in Boston township January 13, 1878, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arzo Mosher. She graduated from Saranac high school in 1895. She and her husband, John A. Mason, married February 21, 1910, celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1960. Mrs. Mason was a member of Everybody’s Garden club and Day Fellowship of Community church. Before working as a telephone operator, she was a milliner. She had resided in Saranac since 1932. She leaves her husband, John A., one daughter, Mrs. George Cobb, two grandchildren, and two nieces. Funeral will be at Morris funeral home in Saranac Saturday at 2:30 p.m., with burial in Saranac cemetery. Rev. Robert McComb and Rev. Eldon Cummings will officiate.
