Rita M. Mason of Clarksville, Michigan, has gone to be with our Lord in Savior
on April 22, 2015, at age 87.  She was born Jan. 16, 1928, to Edward and Anna
(Heyer) Sonday in Portland, Michigan.  She joins her husband Thomas C. Mason
whom she married April 12, 1947.

She is survived by her eight children, Edward Mason and friend Rhonda of
Clarksville, Joseph Mason and friend Jan of Clarksville, Rose (James) Miles of
Six Lakes, Judy Woodman of Arkansas, John (Stub) Mason and friend Vicki Warner
of Saranac, Kathy Mason-Davis and friend Ron of Morley, Mary (Mark) Castle of
Freeport and Marie (Joseph) Boyd of Belding.  She is also survived by three
brothers, Leon (Alice) Sonday of Portland, Gerald (Gertie) Sonday of Portland,
James (Marsha) Sonday of Grand Ledge and sister-in-law Rita Weber-Sonday.  She
has several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren
along with several nieces and nephews that she adored and loved to spend time
with each and everyone of them.

Rita retired from Amway Corporation and enjoyed crocheting, gardening and just
spending time with family.

Funeral Mass will be Saturday, April 25, 2 p.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church
in Saranac.  The family will receive friends on Friday 4-7 at Lake Funeral Home
in Saranac with a Rosary at 7 p.m.  Pallbearers will be grandsons Edward Mason
Jr., Travis Mason, Robert Reynolds Jr., Thomas Weeks, Joshua Parks, and James
Miller.
