Sentinel-Std. - Thursday, Aug. 31, 1922

The funeral for Mrs. Kurte Mathe was held from the residence on North Jefferson 
street, Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, and from the German Lutheran church at 
2:30. Rev. B.H. Succop officiated. The bearers were John Schneider, John Maler, 
George Taggart, Henry Storek, Frank Hahn and Steven Gowaver. Burial took place 
in the family lot at Highland Park cemetery. The floral offerings were many and 
beautiful.
