Mrs. Esther E. Matice of Clear Lake died Monday night at Blodgett Memorial 
hospital in Grand Rapids.  She was 65.  Born at Shiloh October 15, 1910, she 
was the daughter of Evart O. and Clara Belle Warden.  She attended the Shiloh 
school and was a graduate of Ionia High school with the class of 1928.

April 17, 1937 she married Frank E. Matice and they made their home in Muskegon 
Heights until a year ago when they came to Clear Lake.

Surviving besides her husband, Frank, are a son, Frank Jr., of Defiance, Ohio; 
two grandsons; and a brother, Paul Warden of Ionia.

Services will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Stebbins-Simpson funeral home at 
Sheridan.  Family members will be at the funeral home Thursday from 7 to 9 
p.m.  A memorial has been established for the American Cancer society.
