Mattice, 79, died Monday evening at the home of her son, Frank E. Matice, in Muskegon Heights, where she had resided two years. She had been in poor health nearly three years. Mrs. Matice was born May 19, 1865, in Otisco township near Cook’s Corners and in 1884 was married to Frank Matice. The couple lived for nearly ten years near Belding and for 40 years at Clear lake in Fairplains township, Montcalm county. She was affiliated with the Methodist church at Fenwick for many years. Her husband died July 31, 1938. Surviving her are three daughters, Mrs. Van. W. Peabody of San Francisco, Calif., Mrs. Nelson Ryan of Erie, Pa., and Mrs. Howard Clark of Toronto, Canada; two sons, John R. Matice of Birmingham and Frank E. Matice of Muskegon Heights; ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren; also a sister, Mrs. Marian Rich of Belding. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Clear lake church, Rev. H.S. Ellis of Belding will officiate and burial will be in Clear lake cemetery. The body will repose at the Stebbins funeral home in Sheridan until one hour before services. [Transcriber's Note: The date of her husband’s (Frank E.
