The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Friday, December 31, 1937

Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah E. Matthews, 84, who died at her home in 
Easton township, Monday evening, December 27, were held from the Bradley 
funeral home Thursday afternoon, December 30, at 1:30 o’clock and from the 
Easton church at 2:30 o’clock with Rev. Paul L. Stewart conducting the 
services.

Bearers were Emmet Musselman, Noah Bishop and John Rasmussen all of Easton 
township and Gerald Stitt of Ionia.  Interment was at the family lot in Eaton 
cemetery.
