Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 17 Apr 1926

The funeral for Daniel Mattinson, who died Saturday at the home of his son,
Charlie Mattison, was held from the son’s home Tuesday afternoon, conducted by
Rev. W.F. Kendrick of the Ionia Methodist church.  Burial was in the North
Plains cemetery by the side of his wife who died a few years ago.  Two sons,
Harry and Charley Mattinson, of Ronald, and one niece, survive.
