The Ionia County News, Thursday, June 15, 1939

Mrs. Mary Mattocks died at her home in Ionia township Monday evening, June 
12.  She was 76 years old. 

She is survived by her husband, Lester Mattocks; a son, Delbert Snelling, 
Detroit; two sisters, Mrs. May Johnson, Oregon and Miss Sara Britton, 
Birmingham, and two brothers, George Stark, of Coopersville and Fred Stark of 
Sparta.

Funeral service will be from the Bradley funeral home at 2:30 Thursday 
afternoon with burial in Easton cemetery.
