Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 19 May 1961

Funeral service for Fred J. Mauren, 61, publisher of the Portland Review
observer, was held Thursday morning at St. Patricks Catholic church.  He died
Monday evening at his home at 255 Lincoln avenue.  Bearers were Edward Manning,
Jr., Thomas Keusch, William Keusch, Charles Keusch, Robert Keusch and Walter
Palmer.  Interment was at Portland cemetery.
