The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, June 12, 1970
Lyons – Harrison Maus, 82, known as Harry, died in a Grand Rapids hospital 
Thursday evening.  He was admitted Monday.

Born October 15, 1887, near Lyons he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dorman Maus.  
He attended Gorham school and also Lyons school.  He was married to Odessa 
Jenks in Ionia, November 6, 1909.

For eight years he was a Michigan reformatory guard and also owned and 
operated a food market in Lyons several years.

Surviving are a son, Kenneth; two daughters, Mrs. Ivah Gladding and Mrs. 
Marian Ross of Lyons; six grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and one great 
great grandchild.

Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 pm at Lyons Baptist church. Rev. C. R. 
Harrison will officiate and interment will be at Lyons cemetery.

Until noon Sunday Mr. Maus will be at Shaw Rivett Hull funeral home in Muir.
