Agnes S. Maxim, 48, of St. Petersburg, Fla. died Wednesday morning at the home 
of her sister, Hilda Hoffman.  Maxim was born Sept. 21, 1936, in Plainwell, 
the daughter of John and Sadie Cowell Jones.  She attended schools in 
Plainwell.

Her husband Donald preceded her in death in 1969.  Surviving are four 
daughters and one son, Vicki, Joyce, Steven, Caroll and Donna, all of St. 
Petersburg, Fla.; four sisters, Margaret Cameron of Plainwell, Frances Boyd of 
LaGrange, Ind., Susie Hatinger of Orleans, and Hilda Hoffman of Lake Odessa; 
two brothers, Casey Jones of South Bend and Bobby Jones of Lansing.

No visitation or funeral services will be held at Maxim’s request.  
Arrangements were made by Koops Funeral Home of Lake Odessa.
