Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard - Tues. Sept. 2, 1930

The funeral services for Mrs. Mary Maxson, who died at the home of her niece, 
Mrs. Margaret Callahan, of Greenville Sunday evening will be held in SS. Peter 
and Paul's church Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock with interment in Mt. Olivet 
cemetery by the side of her husband the late Arthur A. Maxson, who died about 
five years ago.

Mrs. Maxson was born in New York 68 years ago and came to Ionia to live about 
45 years ago and had lived here continuously. Two years ago she fell and 
fractured her hip and has since been in poor health. April 4 she was taken to 
the home of her niece, whom she reared as a daughter and who is the nearest 
living relative of Mrs. Maxson, to be cared for and where she died Sunday 
evening.
