The Ionia Daily Standard, Tuesday, May 16, 1894

Carrie G., the five years old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thos. F. Maxwell, died 
this morning at eight o’clock, the result of inflammation of the brain.  
Funeral services will be conducted at St. John’s Episcopal church tomorrow at 
12:30, and the remains of the little one will be taken to Detroit for 
interment.
